What you will be doing
This role is part of the Mortgage Support Services Team and involves supporting mortgage completions, handling post‑offer queries and working closely with colleagues across the Society.
About The Role
Key duties include
- Mortgage completions: moving accounts from internal systems and processing completion notifications to borrowers, solicitors and brokers.
- Instructing valuers and downloading valuation reports.
- Monitoring and processing requests such as cancelling applications, account amendments, returned funds, etc.
- Recording and managing Title Deeds received, issued and stored.
- Processing deeds work queue, including updates to the Deeds management system and liaising with the Land Registry.
- Providing a high‑quality service to customers, brokers, solicitors and branch teams through multi‑channel communication.
- Maintaining records for name changes and related updates in the Deeds management system.
- Issuing Transfer Deeds for boundary rectification, grants of easements, master mortgage agreements and equity queries.
- Performing batch processes to ensure all mortgage conditions are met before release of mortgage advances.
- Handling post‑offer and stage payment queries independently, escalating to Senior Administrators when required.
- Assisting with regulatory reporting duties and meeting deadlines.
- Required Criteria
- 6 GCSE passes (or equivalent) at Grade C or above, including English and Mathematics.
- 2 years customer service experience.
- Strong MS Office and IT skills.
- Positive attitude with a passion for customer service.
- Ability to use initiative, work under pressure, manage workload and meet deadlines.
- Desired Criteria
- Previous experience working in a financial environment.
- Telephony experience.
