We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Team Assistant to join our respected law firm. This vital role provides comprehensive administrative and file management support across legal teams. The ideal candidate will establish and maintain strong service-based relationships, translating team needs into responsive, efficient support services.
Key Responsibilities
- Working closely with Practice Assistants to provide client and marketing support through scheduling tender meetings, directory interviews, and client training sessions.
- Maintaining accurate client database information by entering new prospects, contacts, and business development activities into our Interaction system.
- Ensuring thorough knowledge of client-specific protocols and integrating these into current practices.
- Managing comprehensive file administration β maintaining both electronic and paper files according to business-wide naming conventions and folder structures.
- Opening matters on relevant document/case management systems and conducting proper file closing/archiving procedures in compliance with regulations.
- Supporting event organisation including arranging registrations, booking travel, preparing materials, and coordinating promotional items.
- Assisting with various financial administration tasks including billing support and expense processing.
- Producing court bundles in accordance with lawyer instructions and court rules, coordinating with document solutions for printing/copying needs.
- Attending team meetings and maintaining open communication with fee earners and practice assistants regarding work requirements.
Applicants must have previous office-based work experience. This role will progress into a PA role, ideal for an aspiring PA.
