Exciting opportunity for a Lead Business Development Executive! A glossy and global organisation working within the tech industry are looking for a driven, pro-active Lead Business Development Executive to join their team, offering between 35-48k a year with excellent bonus opportunities.

This is on a full time, permanent basis, with an amazing hybrid pattern. The role would be required to travel to their offices in Birmingham, 2 days a month but be remote for the rest of the time.

For this role, the candidate needs to be proactive and analytic, as this role is representing the front end of the mergers and acquisition process. By developing the business, the individual needs to be a self-starter who can work independently to achieve objectives and has the ability to establish client relationships.

Key Duties:
  • This role would involve aiding the growth of the database in the UK by identifying companies that meet the acquisition process, prospect potential business through outbound calls, emails and social media communication to identify target clients.
  • Use of marketing and CRM data to build relationships.
  • Attending trade shows and industry events.
  • Cold calling and face to face meetings with other senior individuals.
  • Conduct first line interactions with companies, and co-ordinate the successful conversation from leads into an actionable opportunity.
Key Requirements:
  • This is a client facing role and it is essential to have experience within the financial services and/or experience in the mergers and acquisitions process.
  • It is essential to have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Management or Accounting.
  • Efficiency in Microsoft and other related IT programmes is an asset.
