Business Development Trainee
A modern global organisation working within the tech industry is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Business Development Trainee, offering up to 26k with bonus opportunities. This is a full-time, permanent role with an excellent hybrid working pattern, based in Birmingham City Centre.
The ideal candidate is within the graduate calibre, proactive, and analytical, as this role involves representing the front end of the mergers and acquisition process. A genuine interest in tech or investments, highly developed conversational skills, and the ability to work independently to achieve objectives are essential. The role also requires establishing client relationships.
Travel to the Netherlands for training and visits to UK businesses will be necessary. The role involves growing the UK database by identifying potential companies, initiating prospect calls, emails, and social media outreach to target clients, using marketing to build relationships, following up on prospects, practicing sales development, cold calling, and conducting face-to-face meetings with senior individuals. This is a client-facing role, and commercial awareness and professional skills are desirable. A Bachelor\’s or Masterβs degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Management, or Accounting is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related IT programs is an asset.
