Katie Bard has an exciting opportunity working for an international brand for a proactive and collaborative HR Shared Services Team Leader to join their expanding HR Shared Service Function. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a role at a pivotal time of transformation. The firm is managing change with regard to the HR technology landscape, streamlining processes, and strengthening the way we support our people.

As the HR Shared Services Team Leader, you will lead the delivery of high-quality service across the HR Shared Services team. Your focus will be on operational excellence, data accuracy, and ensuring a positive experience for every new joiner. You will provide day-to-day leadership to a team of 4–5 HR Administrators within the Shared Service Function.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Team Leadership & Development: Manage, coach, and upskill HR Administrators, ensuring they are equipped to deliver a consistently high standard of customer-centric service.
  • Service Delivery Oversight: Ensure all onboarding and administrative tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and within agreed SLAs.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Act as the onboarding specialist for the Shared Service Function, offering expert guidance across wider HR activity.
  • Ticketing Workflow Management: Oversee the internal ticketing system, ensuring effective triage, timely responses, and appropriate prioritisation of high-importance tasks.
  • Relationship Management: Work closely with external employment screening provider, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and a smooth candidate experience.
  • Reporting & Insights: Produce weekly operational reports for internal stakeholders, contributing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance accuracy, and elevate the onboarding experience.
  • Project Support: Lead or contribute to HR projects, ensuring successful delivery and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve escalations, ensuring queries are handled professionally and promptly.

Applicants must have HR Team Leader experience within an HR Shared Service centre environment. You will have experience managing a team monitoring performance and SLAs.
