Progress Together is a membership body working with financial services firms to ensure all socio-economic backgrounds are represented at senior levels. We work with firms that are serious about data, accountability and practical change. Our role is to support them with research, insight, programmes and peer learning that help turn intention into measurable progress. We are a small, high-trust and collaborative team working across membership, research, programmes and growth. Our size means every role has real impact. We care deeply about quality - in our thinking, our relationships and how we present our work.

The Role

This is not a generic digital marketing role. This is a member value role. Progress Together produces research reports, data insights, toolkits, member webinars and workshops, external events and leadership roundtable events. Your job is to ensure that everything we produce is translated into clear, accessible and visually strong digital content that member firms can genuinely use.

Sitting within the Memberships & Programmes team, you will work closely with the Head of Memberships & Programmes and the Programme Manager to:

  • Shape and package member-facing resources
  • Edit and refine webinars into practical digital assets
  • Turn insight into well-designed, usable outputs
  • Highlight and showcase member achievements
  • Ensure our website functions as an intuitive resource hub

You will collaborate across the organisation, including with the Director of Growth & External Affairs, but your primary focus is enhancing member experience and strengthening how our work is experienced digitally. A major priority in the first year will be supporting the delivery and optimisation of our new website. This is not a corporate PR or long-form research-writing role. Written content is produced by colleagues. Your role is to ensure it is well-designed, well-structured, engaging and easy to use.

Key Responsibilities

Website & Digital Experience

  • Work with web developers and colleagues on the development and maintenance of the website
  • Upload, format and quality-check website content
  • Write and edit short digital copy where needed
  • Ensure strong user experience and digital functionality
  • Keep key pages current, relevant and well presented

Member Resources & Digital Content

  • Develop well-designed member resources (summaries, guidance slides, short reports)
  • Edit webinar recordings into usable assets (clips, summaries, follow-up materials)
  • Highlight and showcase member achievements and case studies
  • Turn research, events and programme content into accessible digital outputs
  • Draft and design promotional content for events and publications

Brand & Asset Creation

  • Manage and develop brand assets and ensure brand consistency
  • Create and maintain branded templates (PowerPoint, Canva and similar)
  • Design social media graphics and digital event assets
  • Produce designed PDFs from written content
  • Brief and liaise with external designers and suppliers where required

Newsletters

  • Design and produce the monthly member newsletter and quarterly external newsletter (Mailchimp)
  • Shape content prompts into engaging, well-structured digital outputs

Social Media & Multimedia

  • Write, design and schedule social media posts
  • Edit webinar recordings and short-form video clips
  • Capture video content at events where appropriate

Cross-Team Working

  • Work collaboratively across membership, research, programmes and external affairs
  • Ensure member value remains central when translating content into digital formats
  • Maintain a consistent visual and digital standard across outputs
