We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join our Junior school in DE7 Derbyshire on a long-term permanent basis, starting Monday 1st May 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who thrives on challenge and wants to make a real difference in the lives of children, inspiring pupils to reach their full potential and contribute positively to the caring, ambitious school community.

The role:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons for a Y3 class.
  • Support and manage children with high SEND and behavioural challenges, promoting positive behaviour and wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs and the wider school team to ensure each child makes progress.
  • Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress, adapting teaching approaches to suit individual needs.
  • Foster a safe, engaging, and motivating classroom environment.
