Progress Teachers are seeking an experienced and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a local mainstream secondary setting. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a true impact on students\’ education and well-being, and is suitable for those with prior secondary school, residential childcare, or youth work experience.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Providing revision support and tutoring to students across key subjects
  • Toilet supervision and assisting with personal care needs when required
  • Supporting students with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs)
  • Assisting students with SEN and additional learning needs in the classroom
  • Working closely with teachers to enhance learning experiences

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a school or educational setting (desirable)
  • Experience supporting students with SEN, EHCPs, or additional needs
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to student support
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
