Who are we looking for from you?

  • Academic Qualifications: English and Maths at Level 2 / GCSE Grade 4 or above is essential. A Business Administration qualification and safeguarding certification are desirable.
  • Administrative Skills: Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
  • Experience: Experience working in a school environment is essential. Experience within a secondary education setting is desirable. Previous involvement with Ofsted inspections (non-association independent schools framework) is also desirable.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, with a diverse range of audiences including children, parents/carers, and professionals.
  • Multi-agency Working: Confident in working with external agencies and parents/carers, sometimes in challenging situations.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to manage caseloads effectively and deal with complex referrals. Able to identify and resolve issues swiftly, ensuring appropriate follow-up.
  • Knowledge: Sound understanding of safeguarding, child protection, equality, inclusion, and how these apply in schools with vulnerable learners.
  • Personal Qualities: Highly motivated, proactive, enthusiastic, and approachable. Able to build positive relationships and demonstrate high expectations.
  • Teamwork: Collaborative team player, supportive of colleagues and committed to the organisation’s mission.
  • Time Management: Able to work effectively under pressure, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines.
  • Learner Engagement: Able to relate well to children, share their interests, and promote a positive and supportive learning environment.
