Role Overview: The National Sales Manager will be responsible for leading a team of seven business development professionals targeting the pharmaceutical and medical device markets. They will lead, motivate, recruit, train and develop their team to ensure all commercial targets are met and exceeded. The role may initially see the appointed person retain some direct sales responsibility for key accounts depending on the seniority of the appointed candidate. Reporting to the Head of Sales and working closely with the Commercial team, this role involves strategic planning, client engagement, and ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) are consistently met.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven success selling outsourced laboratory testing services to the pharmaceutical / medical device space.
  • Proven management experience is strongly desired – however we will consider candidates with an exceptional track record of sales success looking to move into leadership.
  • Strong commercial relationships and credibility / kudos.
