We’re looking for a commercially driven and clinically credible Surgical Sales Territory Manager to take ownership of a high-potential region across Scotland. Key products will include operating theatre tables, anaesthesia devices, patient warming and cooling solutions and surgical headlights.
This is a dynamic, field-based role where you’ll work closely with healthcare professionals in theatre environments—demonstrating cutting-edge surgical technologies, supporting trials, and influencing product adoption. If you thrive on autonomy, relationship-building, and delivering results, this is an opportunity to make a real impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and grow your territory – develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed targets
- Promote an advanced surgical portfolio including bone scalpels, retractors, dopplers, and specialist surgical devices
- Build strong clinical relationships with surgeons, theatre staff, and procurement teams
- Deliver hands-on product demonstrations and support trials in operating theatre environments
- Identify and convert new business opportunities while nurturing existing accounts
- Create compelling proposals, tenders, and quotations
- Track and report sales activity, pipeline, and market insights
- Stay ahead of the competition by developing deep market and product knowledge
- Provide training and technical expertise to both customers and internal teams
- Develop key opinion leaders (KOLs) and reference sites to support product adoption
Required Experience
- Operating Department Practitioner / Scrub Nurse looking to move into medical sales
- Proven medical sales professional dealing with equipment/consumables into surgical theatres
- Proven medical sales executive with good sales experience in broader medical devices sector
- Resilient and activity driven – someone who can make things happen!
- Able to forge relationships and build trust with customers
- Money focused and determined to succeed.
