Are you a commercially driven Account Manager who thrives on building relationships and growing existing business? We’re working with a leading organisation within the medical and healthcare equipment sector to recruit an Internal Account Manager based in Diss, UK. Base salary to £42k with bonus. Three days office / hybrid working.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to customers, identifying commercial opportunities and taking genuine ownership of their accounts.
The Role
You’ll be a key point of contact for a portfolio of NHS customers, managing day-to-day account activity while working closely with an external sales team to maximise customer retention, repeat business and revenue growth. You’ll be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining trusted relationships across NHS accounts
- Responding to customer enquiries, quotations and product support requests
- Identifying and converting repeat, run-rate and incremental sales opportunities
- Generating quotations and proactively following up opportunities
- Supporting targeted inside-sales campaigns
- Managing and progressing your sales pipeline
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and account information
- Working closely with external Account Managers and internal teams
- Sharing customer intelligence, market insight and opportunities with the wider sales team
- Using data to identify trends, improve account performance and increase efficiency
