Role β The Distribution Sales Manager will lead a team of sales professionals who sell via distributors (the channel). The partners will be focused on servicing end users in the Institutional markets, covering restaurants, hotels, long-term care facilities, schools, commercial buildings and military facilities sectors. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of managing and expanding distribution sales, ensuring that targets are not only met but exceeded. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver on Distribution Sales β New Business and Account Management.
- Lead and motivate the Distribution Sales Development Team to meet GTW metrics, forecast accuracy, safety metrics, and pipeline management.
- Develop and execute strategies to foster win-win solutions with distributors, ensuring future business growth.
- Coordinate sales and strategic activities with internal and external stakeholders, building strong and profitable distributor relationships.
- Analyse and report on key sales and project management data, forecasting future expectations.
- Maintain and retain existing business relationships.
- Actively participate as a member of the UK and Ireland SLT Team.
- Provide key support on strategic projects within the region and across the broader division and market.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and management.
- Ideally, degree-level education.
- Previous experience with distributors is highly desirable.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to leverage them for business success.
- Proven track record in exceeding financial, safety, and business targets.
- Demonstrated experience in achieving results through effective team management.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Power BI, CRM, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
