Working for a leading supplier of medical consumables for over 40 years who are seeking a field-based Territory Manager to join their sales team due to an exciting period of growth.

Role-
The WOUNDCARE Territory Manager will be responsible for sales into Primary, Community and Secondary care environments.
You will be able to build and maintain professional relationships across community and acute settings, working effectively with specialist nurses, practice nurses, procurement teams, and other key decision makers to drive sales and brand awareness of the wound management portfolio.
Key functions –
- Working with the Business Development Manager to utilise NHS objectives to create and implement business plans per account to drive sales
- Winning new business
- Develop current business growth opportunities within the acute settings in line with sales targets and objectives
- Developing relationships and building up a rapport with theatre staff and other key decision makers
- Accelerating profitable sales growth within the surgical division, identifying key brands and focus accounts, utilising appropriate data
- Gather customer, competitor, formulary, framework and wider NHS intelligence considering and verbalising potential business impact
- Complying with all internal and external codes of conduct, including GDPR and all regulatory bodies.
Applicant
- Candidates will have 12 months field sales experience and be keen to pursue a career in medical sales -Alternatively, they could have some clinical focus – Nurse / Physiotherapy etc and be looking to move into sales – any woundcare experience is advantageous.
- Some form of Medical Sales experience (preferable)
- Candidates will be degree educated and ideally have a life science or business degree
- Applicant will be smart in appearance, personable, and demonstrate commercial acumen
- Strong numerical, analytical skills to evaluate the commercial approach (essential)
- Strong people skills to develop long-lasting customer relationships (essential)
- Experience in utilising Microsoft office suite e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint (essential)
