Job Description
FOUNDRY OPERATIVE
SANDIACRE, NG10 5AN
£31,797 DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
Working Hours:
Days: Monday to Thursday, 06:00 – 15:30
THE ROLE:
As a Foundry Operative you will be required to carry out carious job activities in the foundry including, but not limited to:
- Topping
- Core making
- Moulding
- Fettling
- Melting
- Casting
- Weights
THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal Foundry Operative:
- Prior experience of Foundry processes desirable but not essential
- Awareness of Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality issues
- Self-motivated / proactive attitude, with the ability to quickly adapt to changing production priorities
- Basic engineering qualification or experience
- Ability to work under pressure to deadlines and targets
