Progress Rail are looking to recruit a Foundry Supervisor to manage the day to day activities of Melting and casting, whilst maintaining a hands on approach, concentrating on safety, quality and the environment and production.

THE ROLE: As a Foundry Supervisor you will be required to:

  • Ensure employees understand and work safely at all times and are adequately trained for the work, concentrating on housekeeping, safe working instruction training and continual improvement.
  • Brief the team on a regular basis and promote effective communication and flow of ideas to enhance the business operations.
  • Ensure quality standards are met and improved where possible.
  • Increase the operational efficiency of the individuals and team.
  • Allocation of work to individuals in accordance with the production schedule ensuring on time completion.
