Job Description
- Our Methods Technician instigates, calculates, designs and monitors all foundry methods.
- Monitors, reports and recommends solutions on issues involving capacity constraints and excess capacity.
- Provides technical advice and suggest improvements in quality systems and sample procedures.
- Delivers cost saving improvements across the plant, including reduction of waste, improvements in casting yields, improvements in methoding systems and the introduction of new technologies.
- Providing technical assessments of foundry consumables.
- Ensuring method weights are up to date to deliver accurate casting weights.
- Continuously improves production routes.
Qualifications
- Experience in similar foundry environment with involvement in Methoding.
- Demonstrable understanding and hands on experience in planning workflow.
- Good computer skills required (MS Office etc.).
- Strong communication skills.
