Are you a Manufacturing Engineer with a strong focus on translating design into manufacturable products? In this role, you’ll take design drawings and convert them into ERP‑ready parts, accurate bills of materials (BOMs), and robust routings. You’ll also be responsible for continuously improving manufacturing processes, driving better performance across cost, quality and delivery performance.
THE ROLE: As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be required to:
- Review and interpret design drawings, specifications, and standards to define robust manufacturing solutions
- Create and maintain accurate ERP master data, including parts, BOMs, routings, work centres, labour standards, and routing times
- Define manufacturing methods, sequences, tooling and work instructions to support efficient, right‑first‑time production
- Support accurate product costing, capacity planning and productivity improvement through high‑quality manufacturing data and analysis
- Collaborate with Procurement on make vs. buy decisions, supplier selection, technical clarification and resolution of supply issues
- Partner with Production, Planning, Quality and Maintenance teams to support smooth product introduction and ongoing manufacture
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, cycle time reduction, waste elimination and process capability
- Provide day‑to‑day manufacturing support, including non‑conformance investigation, corrective and preventive actions and change control
- Support Lean Design for Manufacture, challenging designs that impact yield and approving detail part specifications
- Ensure compliance with quality, health
