Technical Manager / Head of Technical, London, Food Manufacturing We are recruiting for a highly experienced Head of Technical to join the senior management team and lead the technical agenda for the business. The Head of Technical will be responsible for shaping the future of the Technical function and be fully accountable for delivering the Technical and quality strategy throughout the company. This will be a key strategic role tasked with helping to develop the business further and help the Company to meet its strategic aims shaping the way the Company performs and operates on a daily basis. The Company is looking for someone with a proven ability to build high-performing relationships throughout the business, working in partnership with all areas of the Company, especially with the other Heads of Departments and Directors, but also with operatives in all departments along with successfully managing their own team and responsibilities. To this end, first-class Technical management skills are a must as are strong management and people skills along with the desire and tenacity to be a true leader who leads from the front. Boundless energy and enthusiasm will be key to being successful. You must have excellent attention to detail along with a proactive nature in order to identify changes and improvements required. You will have a versatile personality that operates well with all levels of the business along with Customers and Suppliers, a degree of flexibility capable of taking into account other departmental needs and issues along with the gravitas, persuasion, and negotiation skills to make initiatives happen and become intrinsic within the business. You will ideally have relevant Technical / Quality qualifications, along with proven Technical Management Experience gained from within a food/drinks manufacturing background.
