About the Role

As an Area Housing Officer, you’ll play a key role in delivering a responsive, customer-focused housing management service across your patch. You’ll work closely with tenants to meet their needs, manage all aspects of tenancy and estate management, and support tenancy sustainment through visible, proactive engagement within the community. This is a full‑time, permanent role (36.25 hours per week), covering Preston, Lancaster and Kendal. You’ll be primarily office‑based, with regular time spent out in your area carrying out visits and estate work. You’ll manage your own diary and workload, balancing planned activity with responsive casework. Due to the community‑based nature of the role, a driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.
