A competitive salary of £26,423 pro-rata in recognition of your skill and dedication. A fixed term contract / secondment until September 2027. Site based job role 16 Hours per week:

  • Monday 10:00 to 13:30
  • Tuesday 10:00 to 13:00
  • Wednesday 10:00 to 13:00
  • Thursday 10:00 to 13:00
  • Friday 10:00 to 13:30

As a Housekeeper you will provide an efficient and effective housekeeping service to occupants in the accommodation. Progress Living works in partnership with United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals Trust, managing units of accommodation across 3 hospital sites in the Lincolnshire area.

Your Role:

  • Provide an efficient and effective housekeeping service to occupants in the accommodation.
  • Responsible for undertaking the full range of cleaning duties in a timely manner, ensuring working practices comply with all current policies and procedures relating to COSHH and Health and Safety.
  • Undertake scheduled and ad hoc duties relating to environmental cleanliness and/or appearance of the area, such as curtain changing, bed cleaning, carpet shampooing, etc.
  • Safely operate power-driven equipment in the course of these duties; work safely at heights; and use all safety equipment and/or Personal and Protective Equipment issued.
  • Ensure regular and timely ordering of cleaning supplies where required.
  • Check all supplies of cleaning materials delivered to the accommodation for quantity, quality, condition and date, reporting all short deliveries, damaged items, and incorrect dates immediately to the Operational Manager.
  • Ensure that all materials are correctly stored and maintained.
  • Ensure all waste generated is bagged, handled and stored correctly.
  • Receive enquiries from occupants and action accordingly, promoting a “can do attitude”.
  • Assist with the implementation of the Group’s policies and procedures and guidelines under the direction of the Operations Manager.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Highly motivated and able to work on their own initiative, as well as being a team player.
  • Good housekeeping skills and experience within a previous housekeeping role are essential.
  • Willingness to undertake further training.
  • Customer service experience is an advantage.
