A Housekeeper is required for a fixed‑term contract (secondment) until September 2027 at Progress Living, Grantham. Salary is £26,423 pro‑rata. The role is site‑based, 16 hours per week: Monday 10:00‑13:30, Tuesday‑Thursday 10:00‑13:00, Friday 10:00‑13:30.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a full range of cleaning duties in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with COSHH and Health and Safety policies.
  • Carry out scheduled and ad‑hoc tasks such as curtain changing, bed cleaning, carpet shampooing, etc.
  • Operate power‑driven equipment safely, work at heights where required, and use all safety equipment and PPE issued.
  • Order cleaning supplies and verify deliveries for quantity, quality and condition.
  • Store and maintain cleaning materials properly.
  • Dispose of waste correctly.
  • Respond to occupant enquiries with a constructive, can‑do attitude.
  • Assist the Operations Manager with implementing the group’s policies, procedures and updates.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Highly motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong housekeeping skills and previous housekeeping experience.
  • Willingness to undertake further training.
  • Customer service experience; dealing with customers is an advantage.
