About Progress Lifeline: Progress Lifeline provides technology enabled care (TEC) services that support people to live safely and independently in their homes through telecare, assistive technology and monitoring services. Working in partnership with local authorities, housing providers and health and care organisations, Lifeline plays a vital role in supporting preventative care and independent living across communities. Following nearly 20 years of leadership from the current Director, we are recruiting a new Director to lead Lifeline into its next chapter.
The Opportunity: Technology enabled care services are transforming as the sector moves from analogue to digital technology. As Director of Progress Lifeline, you will provide strategic leadership for the service, ensuring high-quality delivery and guiding the transition to digital TEC solutions. You will strengthen partnerships across housing, health and social care and identify opportunities to further develop Lifeline services. This role sits at the intersection of housing, technology, health and social care and helps shape the future of independent living.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership for Progress Lifeline, ensuring high-quality service delivery and operational performance.
- Lead the transition from analogue to digital technology enabled care services.
- Strengthen partnerships with local authorities, housing providers and sector partners.
- Identify opportunities to develop and enhance TEC services.
- Ensure strong governance, risk management and financial performance.
- Lead and inspire teams through a period of sector transformation and technological change.
About You: We are looking for a senior leader who can guide services through change while maintaining strong operational delivery.
You May Come From a Range Of Sectors Including:
- Technology enabled care or telecare
- Assistive technology
- Telecoms or digital services
- Housing, health or social care
You Will Bring:
- Senior leadership experience managing complex services.
- Experience leading service transformation or digital change.
- Strong partnership and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to identify service development opportunities.
- The ability to lead teams through change and innovation.
- Experience within TEC or related sectors is advantageous but not essential.
