Travel to include- Rotherham, Doncaster, Sheffield An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the expanding Progress Careers Team as a Careers Advisor . The ideal candidate should be able to support the smooth and efficient running of contracts, the effective overview of central records and reporting and to develop strong communications with all key stakeholders. Purpose To provide professional career guidance services, including personal guidance interviews, to improve young people\'s skills, knowledge, and understanding of career planning and management. This centre is around students within the secondary school sector but also includes those at a later point in their career pathway. Essential Qualifications and Experience Education: Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent qualifications, particularly in English and Maths. Qualified (L6 or prepared to work towards). Experience: Experience in managing databases, filing systems, and handling HR‑related tasks such as safer recruitment and onboarding. Experience working with Microsoft Teams, Office Suite, and other relevant software. Skills and Competencies Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to manage multiple administrative tasks, prioritise work, and meet deadlines. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage several different work streams at once without close supervision. Attention to Detail: Meticulous in handling records, filing systems, reports, and proofreading documents. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to maintain strong relationships with stakeholders. Problem Solving: Ability to take initiative and solve day‑to‑day issues efficiently, work to tight timelines, and produce high‑quality work while under pressure. Team Collaboration: Ability to build strong working relationships with senior members of staff within schools.
