Level 3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People). As a Support Worker, you will be working at our 4 Bed Children’s home based in Penn WV4 which offers emergency care and support for children and young people aged up to 18 years, who have mild to severe learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and sensory impairments. This home is set up specifically to respond to the needs of children where they face a disruption of a placement, be that a breakdown at home, within a foster placement or a residential setting placement. It is to provide an extended break for children, as part of a plan to prevent further placement breakdown. You will be working Early shifts, late shifts, long days and the rota does include alternate weekends.

You will assist the management team in maintaining a safe and enabling environment that provides positive experiences to children and young people.
