Your Mission:
As a Product Launch Team Leader, you are the powerhouse behind launching cutting-edge products from concept to production! You\’ll drive all manufacturing aspects from program award (Phase 1) to Start of Production (SOP) + 6 months, ensuring everything runs seamlessly. This role is perfect for an innovative leader ready to take on big challenges and make an impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all manufacturing activities related to product launch.
- Lead plant coordination efforts to ensure smooth program implementation.
- Develop, validate, and implement a world-class production system.
- Manage equipment, tools, layout, process flow, and material logistics.
- Coordinate installation, reception, and commissioning of new production equipment.
- Drive QCDP targets (Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Performance) for new launches.
- Identify resource needs and coordinate team activities effectively.
- Analyse and optimise prototype builds to ensure flawless execution.
- Supervise production ramp-up and process approvals for new parts.
- Implement changes in production systems per Engineering Change Management.
- Provide clear and regular updates on progress, risks, and opportunities.
- Act as the key liaison between the Plant and Project teams.
- Uphold ethical leadership and management principles at all times.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Essential: A degree or equivalent in Engineering or a related field.
- Desirable: 3+ years of hands-on experience in product launch & manufacturing in the Automotive Sector.
