We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of an established UK manufacturer of traffic safety solutions for an experienced and commercially driven National Sales Manager.

With a strong reputation for quality, innovation and British engineering, our client is entering an exciting period of growth and is looking for an inspirational sales leader to help shape and deliver its next phase of expansion.

This is a senior commercial opportunity for an ambitious sales professional who can combine strategic thinking, hands-on sales leadership and strong key account management to deliver sustainable revenue growth.

The Role

As National Sales Manager, you will lead, develop and inspire the sales team while working closely with the Managing Director to deliver the company's commercial strategy.

You will take ownership of national sales performance, strengthen key customer relationships, identify new opportunities and build a high-performing, customer-focused sales culture.

The role combines sales strategy, team leadership, key account management, business development, tendering and market development, with the opportunity to influence future product and commercial strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets, increase market presence and deliver sustainable revenue growth.
  • Lead, coach and develop the national sales team, embedding a performance-led, customer-first culture.
  • Ensure effective CRM usage, pipeline management, forecasting, quote follow-up and monthly sales reporting.
  • Own and develop key customer accounts to increase revenue, retention and long-term contracts.
  • Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities across existing and emerging markets.
  • Lead and support public and private sector tenders, frameworks and contract submissions.
  • Manage pricing and rebate enquiries while safeguarding existing contracts and customer commitments.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer requirements to identify opportunities and provide market intelligence.
