Our client is looking for a qualified ACCA or CIMA Management Accountant to join their finance team based in Solihull. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting year-end audits. The role also includes VAT and CIS returns, invoice processing, cash flow forecasting, and assisting with budgeting and financial modelling. Strong communication skills and a professional, self-motivated approach are essential, along with the ability to work well in a team and liaise effectively with suppliers, customers, and lenders.

As a Management Accountant you will need to have/be:

  • IT literate with working knowledge of basic Word and Excel Microsoft programmes
  • ACCA or CIMA qualified
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Self-motivated

Details:

  • Salary: 42,000 - 57,000
  • Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours
  • Location: Solihull (office based 5 days per week)
  • Duration: Permanent

Role of a Management Accountant:

  • Production of monthly management accounts, including detailed variance analysis and commentary on financial and operational performance of the business
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Supporting the Year-end and the Audit process for the various companies
  • Supporting the finance team in the submission of financial models to the banks
  • Invoice processing on sales and purchase ledgers
  • VAT returns submissions and dealing with HMRC queries
  • CIS returns and dealing with sub-contractors for our property construction businesses
  • Bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasting
  • Supporting the team in the annual budgeting and P & L forecasting process
  • Communication with suppliers, customers, lenders, and key stakeholders
