Business Performance Manager Due to growth our Tamworth based client is looking for a Business Performance Manager to join their team. This is a new management position within the Group Commercial department. Your role will be to manage a team of commercial analysts who provide support across a variety of business units, projects and responsibilities. As a Business Performance Manager, you will need to have/be: Strong record of managing and leading teams Effective communication – ability to use a broad range of communication styles and chose appropriate, effective ways to communicate to different audiences in diverse situations. Comfortable with communicating with stakeholders of all levels Self-Management – the ability to prioritise and complete tasks in order to deliver desired outcomes within allotted timeframes Strong commercial acumen with an analytical background, able to pull together, interrogate and present data and analysis in order to support and drive operational and strategic decision making Maintaining a positive, open and objective attitude towards others Flexibility – the ability to readily modify, respond to and integrate change with minimal personal resistance High level of integrity, drive to make a difference and natural collaborator Project Management – co-ordinate and drive a variety of projects across the team and wider group. The ability to lead projects instigated by the department as well as play a supporting role in projects when the department is a key stakeholder.Details: Salary: £47, 000 – £52, 000 Working Hours: 40 hours per week Monday – Friday Location: Tamworth (on site) Duration: PermanentRole of Business Performance Manager: Management of a team of Commercial Analysts providing support across the group of companies. Project Management – the ability to manage and co-ordinate a variety of projects across multiple businesses and team members (including pricing, stock management, business performance, new product validation). Market Data Harvesting – engage with the external sales team as well as other stakeholders to gain reliable market data to be used when launching new products and reviewing business performance. Business Performance Analysis – manage a team of analysts to track and report on the progress of new & existing product ranges; identifying progress against targets, market feedback and formulating decisions and plans to drive continued success. New Product Validation – Take responsibility for reviewing the Commercial viability of new products being developed by the Product Development department. Key areas of focus around target pricing / costs, margin expectations as well as forecasts. Demand Analysis (Slow & Obsolete Stock) – review stock levels vs. turnover and identify and review slow moving items and propose corrective actions. As part of the New Product Introduction process, identify lines at risk of becoming obsolete and influence the phase out of such lines and ways of influencing stock holding to mitigate risk against future stock issues. Stock management- Work alongside the purchasing department in order to take responsibility for reviewing stock levels against forecasts and performance. Generate reports for management and other departments as well as co-ordinate various departments in order drive the business required solutions to these challenges.
