About the Role
As a Commercial Insurance Broker, you will play a key role in managing and growing a portfolio of commercial clients, providing expert advice and tailored insurance solutions. Working closely with Account Executives and insurers, you will negotiate competitive terms and ensure clients receive the best coverage for their needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients and insurers.
- Assess client needs and provide tailored insurance solutions across multiple sectors.
- Negotiate policy terms, pricing, and coverage to ensure competitive and profitable placements.
- Handle renewals, mid-term adjustments (MTAs), and new business submissions.
- Support Account Executives with technical broking and client management.
- Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and company policies.
- Utilize Acturis and other industry platforms to manage documentation and client files.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 2 yearsβ experience in commercial insurance broking.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Cert CII qualification or working towards it (study support available).
- Experience handling mid-market to corporate risks.
- Proficiency in Acturis and MS Office.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
