About the Role

As a Commercial Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of commercial clients, providing expert advice and tailored insurance solutions. You will play a key role in driving business growth, negotiating competitive terms, and ensuring clients receive the best coverage for their needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients and insurers.
  • Identify opportunities to expand business and enhance client portfolios.
  • Negotiate policy terms, pricing, and coverage to ensure competitive and profitable placements.
  • Handle renewals, mid-term adjustments (MTAs), and new business submissions.
  • Provide expert advice on risk management and insurance solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and company policies.
  • Utilize industry platforms to manage documentation and client files efficiently.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in commercial insurance broking or account management.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Cert CII qualification or working towards it (study support available).
  • Experience handling mid-market to corporate risks.
  • Proficiency in Acturis and MS Office.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
