Property & Casualty Underwriter

Experienced Property & Liability Underwriter sought to proactively develop and grow a commercial book of business. Role will suit an Underwriter who is passionate about working with brokers and customers to develop an understanding of their needs.

Underwriting Role:

• Responsible for day to day underwriting activities and providing customer solutions.
• Dealing with brokers and customers and collaborating with the team to support both Lead Trading underwriter to achieve results.
• Opportunity provided to work towards underwriting licence levels.
• The Trading Underwriter will be responsible for own book of business and achieving targets and KPIs.

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience within Property & Liability underwriting is essential.
• ACII qualifications.
• Also essential is excellent communication, time management and negotiating skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a complex organisation.
