We’re looking for a curious, proactive and enthusiastic individual to join Proforest as our AI Analyst, Europe. This is a newly created role at an exciting time of change for Proforest as we explore how artificial intelligence can support our people, strengthen the way we work and enhance the value we deliver to clients and partners. This position offers the opportunity to help shape AI adoption across the organisation, working with colleagues from a wide range of technical and operational teams. The role is offered as a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension.

As AI Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting Proforest's AI initiatives across Europe and the wider organisation. Working closely with colleagues across technical and operational teams, you will help identify practical opportunities for AI adoption, develop and test pilot solutions, support staff learning and contribute to the development of internal guidance and good practice. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys learning about emerging technologies, solving problems, working collaboratively and turning ideas into practical solutions.

In this role, you will:

  • Identify opportunities to apply AI in client work while ensuring compliance with organisational responsible AI principles
  • Explore, evaluate and test emerging AI tools and assess their potential applications across the organisation
  • Design, develop and pilot AI solutions to improve the way we work
  • Support the delivery of AI training sessions and learning resources for staff
  • Support the development of internal AI guidance, governance processes and responsible AI practices
  • Contribute to the work of Proforest's Global AI Working Group
  • Help build engagement and confidence in AI across teams and regions

This role offers a unique opportunity to help shape AI adoption within a global organisation working on sustainability challenges. You will gain hands-on experience implementing AI in a professional environment, collaborate with colleagues across multiple countries and disciplines, and play an important role in influencing how AI supports both internal operations and client-facing work.

About You: We are looking for someone with a strong interest in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, who is excited by the opportunity to help shape how AI is used within a mission-driven organisation. You should have:

  • A recent degree, or equivalent experience, in computer science, data science, engineering, information systems, business or another relevant discipline
  • A strong interest in AI and emerging technologies
  • Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude or similar platforms. Proficient in prompt engineering
  • The ability to learn quickly and confidently explore new tools and approaches
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to co-ordinate multiple activities simultaneously
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with colleagues from different backgrounds and disciplines

It would also be an advantage if you have:

  • Experience delivering training or user support
  • An understanding of AI governance or responsible AI principles
  • Experience managing projects or co-ordinating activities across teams
