Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver – Installer Location: Swindon Employment Type: Ad hoc, but could lead to a temp-to-perm role for the right candidate Pay Rate: £15–£16 per hour Working Hours: Minimum 10-hour shifts, generally between 10 to 15 hours, Monday to Friday Start Window: Between 02:00–06:00 Overtime: Paid at time and a half after 40 hours Overview ProForce Personnel Ltd is recruiting on behalf of our client for a professional and reliable HGV Driver to join a specialist logistics team. This is not a standard trunking or pallet drop role. It involves the delivery and on-site installation of high-value and sensitive equipment. You will be representing a trusted logistics brand and must deliver an excellent standard of service, often working in challenging delivery environments. Technical understanding and hands-on ability are important, though full training will be provided for the right candidate. A fit and positive attitude are essential. Key Responsibilities * Drive HGV Class 2 vehicles to client sites across the UK. * Assist with unloading and installation of technical and sensitive equipment. * Follow route plans and delivery instructions accurately. * Ensure vehicle safety checks and defect reporting are carried out daily. * Represent the client in a professional and courteous manner. * Work alongside porters/installers to complete tasks efficiently. * Adhere to all health and safety procedures and transport legislation. Essential Requirements * Valid HGV Class 2 Licence * Driver CPC * Digital Tachograph Card * CSCS Card desired but not essential * Asbestos Awareness Certification desired but not essential * Physically fit with a strong work ethic and good attitude * Willingness to work flexibly and adapt to changing delivery demands Desirable Experience * Previous experience delivering and installing sensitive or technical equipment desired but not essential * Experience using stair climbers, tail lifts, or similar handling equipment desired * White glove or premium delivery background desired Opportunity This role offers an excellent entry point with flexible, ad hoc work to start. For the right candidate, there is a strong possibility of it progressing into a temp-to-perm position.
