About the Role:

Due to high demand, we are looking for a skilled Mobile Cleaning Operative to join the team and work across multiple sites across theOswestryareas. The successful applicant must have a full UK driving licence, access to a vehicle and car insurance for business purposes, all other information will be collected upon interview. The hours will range between 05:00-22:00, totalling 20 hours per week.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Travelling to multiple sites across Oswestry including Powys, Wrexham, Cheshire and surrounding areas. Shropshire and the West Midlands.
  • Thoroughly disinfect and sanitise medical equipment, surfaces, and patient rooms.
  • Follow strict infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infections.
  • Properly handle and dispose of medical waste according to guidelines.
  • Clean and sanitise public areas like waiting rooms, offices, kitchens, communal areas restrooms, and corridors.
  • Perform specialised cleaning in critical areas like operating rooms.
  • Maintain cleanliness and stock supplies in patient and public areas.
  • Ensure cleaning equipment is well-maintained and functional.
  • Communicate maintenance issues promptly to supervisors.
  • Keep accurate records of cleaning activities for compliance.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines, using PPE as needed.
  • Respond to emergency cleaning situations effectively.
  • Collaborate with cleaning and medical staff for a clean environment.

Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle
  • Proven experience as a Cleaning Operative or similar role
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
  • Good communication skills to report any issues or concerns to management
