Job Summary: We are seeking a newly qualified HGV / LGV Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out inspections, servicing, and maintaining vehicles. This role requires a technical background, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Ongoing Technical training and IRTEC qualification together with financial support to gain Class 2 licences.
Duties:
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HGV / LGV vehicles.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment.
- Perform repairs, mechanical adjustments and component replacements.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used.
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with all compliance/ health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimise downtime and optimise operational efficiency.
