ProFinda is a fast-growing, innovative SaaS company revolutionizing how organizations understand, mobilize, and manage their workforce and skills. Our platform uses cutting-edge AI to match people to the right projects and opportunities, enabling unprecedented agility and efficiency for our global client base. We work with some of the world's largest and most complex organizations, and our success is directly tied to the deep, trusted relationships we build with them.

We are seeking a proactive Scrum Master to serve as the operational heartbeat of our development cycles. You will be responsible for looking around corners to mitigate risks before they impact delivery, using data-driven metrics to assess technical execution, and ensuring the roadmap is delivered successfully and predictably. We are looking for a pragmatic problem-solver with the technical literacy to work with engineering teams, someone who thrives on removing the systemic obstacles that slow us down, and who is committed to a culture of high-velocity and high-quality delivery.

In this position you will be:

  • Communicating with stakeholders: You would need to communicate with stakeholders regularly and keep them informed about the progress of sprints, raising risks early and often. This includes looking around corners, facilitating tradeoff discussions, providing regular updates, answering questions and addressing any concerns they may have.
  • Facilitating sprint planning: You would be responsible for facilitating sprint planning meetings and ensuring that the team’s capacity is aligned on the goals and objectives for each sprint.
  • Facilitate Backlog Refinement: As a Scrum Master, collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering teams to ensure the backlog is refined, transparent, and aligned with the product goal and roadmap.
  • Conducting daily stand-up meetings: You would need to conduct daily stand-up meetings to ensure that everyone is aware of the progress being made and to identify any potential roadblocks that need to be addressed. Proactively identify and lead the resolution of systemic organizational obstacles that hinder team flow.
  • Monitoring progress and tracking metrics: You would be responsible for monitoring progress throughout the release cycle and tracking metrics such as velocity, burn-down charts and sprint progress to assess and improve technical execution.
  • Facilitate sprint retrospectives: to drive continuous improvement by analyzing the previous sprint’s processes, tools, and team dynamics. Determine high-value improvements to be implemented.
  • Agile Champion and Coaching: You will need to cultivate and champion agile best practices for the teams, and be able to explain the “why” behind the practices. In some cases, you will also help coach teams to help with adherence.
  • Support release process: As a Scrum Master you will support our release cycles, ensuring that development items your teams are ready to ship are included in the appropriate release.

What you need to be successful in the role you need:

  • Excellent communication skills: You need to be able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including team members, and senior management.
  • Strong leadership skills: As a Scrum Master, you need to be able to lead the team and facilitate decision-making processes.
  • Flexibility and adaptability: You should be able to adapt to changing requirements and priorities and adjust delivery accordingly.
  • Conflict resolution skills: You should be able to effectively manage conflicts that may arise within the team or with stakeholders.
  • Continuous improvement mindset: You should be committed to continuous improvement and strive to improve the release process with each iteration.
  • Operational Foresight: A proactive mindset to "look around corners," identifying and mitigating systemic risks before they impact delivery.
  • Technical Literacy: Deep understanding of the SDLC and technical execution, enabling peer-level collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Data-Driven and Detail Oriented: Expert use of metrics (Velocity, Burn-down, Cycle Time) to provide transparent reporting and drive high-velocity delivery. You need to be detail-oriented and have a keen eye for quality to ensure that work items meet all necessary requirements.
  • High-EQ Facilitation: Strong emotional intelligence to navigate complex stakeholder trade-offs and discussions that align teams.
  • Pragmatic Problem-Solving: A commitment to continuous improvement, balancing agile best practices with the flexibility required in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Lead, specifically within a fast-paced SaaS environment.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM II/III), or equivalent Agile certification is preferred.
  • Proven track record of supporting complex software release cycles and collaborating on AI or data-driven products.
  • Advanced proficiency in Agile management tools (e.g., Jira, Notion) for workflow automation and reporting.
  • Strong grasp of project management principles to ensure alignment across multiple cross-functional teams.
