A well established and highly respected property business is looking to recruit an experienced Lettings New Business Partner to join their busy Balham lettings hub. This is a key commercial role, acting as the primary lettings valuer for the area. You will be responsible for generating and winning new business, growing the lettings portfolio, and building long term relationships with landlords through outstanding service and market knowledge.
This opportunity would suit a confident lettings professional who enjoys valuations, winning instructions, and being directly rewarded for performance.
The role
As Lettings New Business Partner, you will take ownership of new business generation across the local area. You will carry out accurate rental valuations, win instructions, and guide landlords through the lettings process while offering additional services where appropriate. You will be commercially minded, target driven, and confident representing the business professionally at all times.
Key responsibilities
- Carrying out accurate lettings valuations and winning new instructions
- Generating new business through proactive landlord engagement
- Building and maintaining strong, long term landlord relationships
- Following up all valuation leads with written confirmation and market comparables
- Advising landlords on achievable rents and market positioning
- Ensuring landlords fully understand the lettings process and associated costs
- Managing your diary efficiently to maximise business opportunities
- Working to and exceeding individual and branch KPIs
- Monitoring local market trends and competitor activity
- Reviewing rental prices and advising landlords on adjustments where required
- Ensuring systems, processes, and fee structures are followed accurately
About you
- Proven experience within residential lettings is essential
- Commercially minded with a new business focus
- Confident, credible, and professional with landlords
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Highly organised with strong diary management
- Self motivated with a positive, driven attitude
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Whatβs on offer
