A well established and respected estate agency based in Lower Earley, Reading is looking to recruit an ambitious and driven Estate Agency Valuer to join their sales team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident valuer who enjoys winning new business, building relationships, and converting valuations into instructions.
You will play a key role in driving growth for the branch and representing the business within the local market.
The role
As a Valuer, you will be responsible for generating new opportunities, carrying out valuations and listings, and negotiating offers between vendors and buyers.
This is a front facing, target driven role that suits someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service.
Working hours
As of July, working hours have been reduced to an approximate 48 hour, 5 day week, structured as follows:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 6pm
- One in four Saturdays, 9am to 4pm
- An additional day off during the week (Wednesday) when working a Saturday
Key responsibilities
- Identifying and maximising new business opportunities
- Carrying out property valuations and winning instructions
- Booking and conducting property viewings
- Delivering exceptional customer service both over the phone and face to face
- Working towards and achieving personal and branch targets
- Negotiating and agreeing offers between vendors and buyers
- Representing the business professionally at all times
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with local property owners and investors
