The Opportunity

Our client is a well-respected, multi-office independent estate agency operating across North Hampshire. A busy and active agent with a strong reputation, they have enjoyed a period of continual growth and are now looking to take their lettings operation to the next level. This is a confidential appointment and represents a genuinely exciting opportunity for an ambitious professional to step into a senior leadership role within a thriving independent business. More than just a management position, this role offers a clear pathway to a shareholding stake in the company in future years, making it an exceptional proposition for the right individual.

About the Role

This is an emphatically hands-on position. The business is looking for a leader who is operationally motivated and strategically minded, someone who is not afraid to get stuck in alongside their team whilst also driving the overall direction of the lettings division. You will take full ownership of the lettings operation, leading business generation, winning new instructions, and growing the fully managed portfolio. You will also have operational input into the property management division, helping to shape processes, improve retention, and ensure the highest standards of service are maintained as the portfolio grows. The role will evolve with you. As the lettings operation expands, so too will your responsibilities and the team around you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and growing the lettings operation across multiple offices
  • Hands-on involvement in business generation and winning new instructions
  • Developing and implementing a strategy for lettings growth
  • Overseeing and supporting the property management division operationally
  • Growing and retaining the fully managed portfolio
  • Managing and mentoring the lettings team
  • Reporting on performance and driving continuous improvement
  • Contributing to the wider strategic direction of the business

What we are looking for

  • A senior lettings professional, ideally at Senior Lettings Manager or Senior Branch Manager level
  • A strong operational understanding of property management
  • Proven ability to generate new business and grow a lettings portfolio
  • Strategic thinker who is equally comfortable working at ground level
  • Ambitious, driven and eager to grow with a business for the long term
  • Someone who thrives in an independent, entrepreneurial environment
  • Ready to take the next step in their career, whether from a senior branch role or towards an area-level position

Why this role stands out

  • Clear pathway to a shareholding role within the business
  • Genuine autonomy to shape and build the lettings operation
  • Join a highly respected, continuously growing independent
  • Competitive basic salary with a realistic and rewarding OTE
  • Be part of a business where your contribution is truly recognised
  • A career-defining opportunity for the right ambitious professional

This is an exceptional opportunity for a driven and experienced lettings professional who is ready to step up, make their mark, and build a long-term future with a business that genuinely rewards ambition.
