An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced LETTINGS NEGOTIATOR to join a long established and highly respected independent estate agency based in East Horsley.
This role offers the chance to work within a friendly and supportive team, managing a loyal portfolio of long standing landlords while also playing a key role in growing the lettings business. You will be joining a business that truly values relationships, professionalism, and delivering a high level of service, both to existing clients and new instructions.
As a LETTINGS NEGOTIATOR, you will be at the heart of the lettings operation, responsible for managing applicant enquiries, conducting viewings, negotiating deals, and progressing tenancies through to move in. Alongside this, you will be expected to build and maintain strong landlord relationships, whilst proactively identifying new business opportunities to help grow the portfolio. This is a varied, fast paced role that would suit someone who enjoys both the service and sales side of lettings.
Key Responsibilities:- Registering applicants and matching them to suitable properties
- Conducting property viewings
- Negotiating offers between landlords and tenants
- Generating new landlord leads and winning instructions
- Building and maintaining strong landlord relationships
- Progressing tenancies from offer agreed through to move in
- Liaising with referencing companies and preparing tenancy documentation
- Ensuring full compliance with current lettings legislation
- Achieving and exceeding agreed lettings targets
- Maintaining accurate CRM records
- Contributing to overall office growth and market share
- Delivering targeted service level offerings to existing landlords
- Experience in Residential Lettings is essential
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Good understanding of lettings legislation and compliance, including the Renters Rights Act
- High level of customer service skills
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Well presented, motivated and proactive approach
- Local knowledge of East Horsley and surrounding Surrey areas would be advantageous
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential
- Professional and reliable approach to Estate Agency
- Punctual, organised and detail focused
- Relevant industry qualifications would be beneficial
- Basic salary of £30,000 with OTE £36,000+
