Location: Predominantly Remote with UK Travel. (Expenses covered)
Hours: Full time, permanent
The opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced estate agency professional to move into PropTech and join an established business providing an all‑in‑one CRM platform to UK estate agents.
We’re looking for someone who genuinely understands how an estate agency works and can use that knowledge to train clients to get the very best from the CRM.
You might already work within PropTech or software training, but equally you could currently be working within estate agency, lettings or property management and be looking for an opportunity to use your industry knowledge in a completely different way.
Experience across lettings, property management and client accounting would be particularly valuable and preferable - especially the client accounting side.
This is a predominantly remote role, although you will travel regularly to estate agency clients throughout the UK to deliver onsite training. You’ll also spend approximately a couple of days each month at head office (Cotswolds / West Oxfordshire) , so being reasonably centrally located is important.
There will be occasional overnight stays depending on the training schedule.
The role
As Product Trainer, you’ll be responsible for helping both new and existing clients understand and confidently use the CRM.
You’ll deliver training onsite, remotely and through webinars, working with people across all areas and levels of an estate agency business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering CRM training to individuals and teams both onsite and remotely
- Training clients across sales, lettings, applicant management, tenancies and property management
- Providing training around rent collection, landlord statements, reconciliation and client accounting
- Supporting new clients as they move onto the CRM, including go‑live days within branches
- Providing refresher and follow‑up training to existing clients
- Identifying where clients could be getting more from the CRM
- Keeping training materials and the training syllabus up to date as the platform develops
- Building strong ongoing relationships with clients
- Gathering client feedback and communicating this clearly to the Product team
- Identifying recurring requirements and contributing ideas for future product improvements
- Reporting product issues clearly to the development team
- Delivering short online demonstrations when required
- Proactively contacting clients to encourage participation in additional training sessions and workshops
- Identifying opportunities for additional client training, with a bonus scheme recognising this contribution
About you
Hands‑on Property industry / estate agency experience is essential for this role.
We’re looking for someone who understands the realities of working within an estate agency and can relate the technology to what agents actually do every day.
You’ll enjoy working with people and be confident explaining systems to everyone from an experienced Branch Manager to someone who may be far less comfortable with technology.
Ideally, you will have:
- Solid experience working within residential estate agency
- A good understanding of estate agency processes and workflows
- excellent communication and presentation skills
- Confidence delivering training to groups, online and one‑to‑one
- The ability to explain systems clearly and patiently
- Strong client relationship skills
- A proactive and commercially aware approach
- Confidence speaking with clients by telephone and following up by email or WhatsApp
- The ability to manage your own diary and workload
- A full UK driving licence
- The flexibility to travel regularly throughout the UK, including occasional overnight stays
Particularly advantageous
We would be especially interested in speaking to candidates with experience in any of the following:
- Residential lettings
- Property management
- Client accounting
- Rent reconciliation and landlord payments
- Client Money Protection and lettings compliance
- PropTech
- Software implementation or onboarding
- Training estate agency teams
- Account management within a property software business
You do not necessarily need previous PropTech experience. If you have strong estate agency knowledge, enjoy helping and training people and are confident using technology, we would still very much like to hear from you.
What’s on offer
- £40,000 salary (plus expenses)
- Performance‑related bonus
- Predominantly remote working
- Generous holiday allowance increasing with service
- Your birthday off
- Regular team events
- Accommodation and meals covered when travelling
- Technology provided
- The opportunity to build a career within the growing PropTech sector
- Genuine input into how clients use the CRM and how the product continues to develop
