ProfileTree is an award-winning digital marketing agency based in Belfast. We help organisations across the UK and Ireland generate leads and sales through strategic websites, SEO and digital content. We are looking for a Social Media Executive to manage and grow our social media presence across ProfileTree and our portfolio of brands, including Educational Voice, Learning Mole, Amazing Food and Drink, Amazing Cars and Drives, Connolly Cove and others. This is a hands-on, creative role suited to someone who is confident producing video-first content, alongside strong visuals and written posts. You will play a key role in shaping how our brands show up online, driving engagement, reach and brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create and publish content across all key social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube)
- Produce video-first content, including filming, editing and optimising for each platform
- Create supporting visuals (graphics, thumbnails, carousels) and written captions that drive engagement
- Manage social media channels across ProfileTree and subsidiary brands, ensuring consistent tone and quality
- Adapt content style and messaging to suit different audiences and brand identities
- Monitor performance and optimise content based on insights and analytics
- Stay up to date with platform trends, formats and best practices
- Collaborate with internal teams (video, content, SEO and digital marketing) to align with wider campaigns
- Support content planning, scheduling and campaign execution
- Engage with audiences where required, responding to comments and messages
- Ensure all content is delivered on time and to a high standard
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in social media, content creation or a related role
- Strong experience creating video content for social media (short-form and platform-specific)
- Good understanding of major social media platforms and what performs well on each
- Ability to create engaging visuals and write compelling captions
- Basic video editing skills (e.g. Premiere Pro, CapCut or similar)
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple brands and content streams
- Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
- A portfolio or examples of social media content
Desirable
- Experience managing multiple brands or accounts
- Understanding of social media analytics and performance tracking
- Experience working in an agency or fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Suite)
- Awareness of emerging trends, formats and AI tools for content creation
