ProfileTree is an award-winning web design and digital marketing agency based in Belfast. We help businesses across the UK and Ireland generate real leads and sales through strategic websites, SEO and digital content. We are looking for a commercially driven Business Development Executive who knows how to sell websites and digital services with confidence and credibility. If you understand how a well-built site drives business growth and you are comfortable leading consultative sales conversations, this role was written for you.
The Role
- Proactively generate new business through cold outreach across email, phone, video and other suitable platforms.
- Lead consultative sales conversations focused on website projects and digital services including SEO, content and digital strategy.
- Confidently discuss website structure, UX, CMS platforms, SEO and performance with prospects and clients.
- Produce clear, structured proposals and scopes of work.
- Manage client relationships from first contact through onboarding and ongoing growth.
- Work closely with Web, Strategy and Client Services teams to ensure smooth delivery.
- Maintain accurate pipeline and activity records in our CRM.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 1 year's experience in business development, account management or a client-facing role, ideally within a digital or agency environment.
- Proven experience selling website projects and/or digital marketing services.
- Strong understanding of how websites generate leads, including SEO fundamentals.
- Confident communicator across phone, email and video, including recording outreach videos.
- Ability to take a client brief, build structured proposals and manage expectations from first call through to delivery.
- Experience using a CRM to manage pipeline accurately.
- Highly organised, proactive and commercially driven.
Desirable Requirements
- Working knowledge of WordPress.
- Exposure to Google Analytics, Search Console or SEO tools.
- Previous agency experience.
