We are delighted to be recruiting for a Production Operative with fermentation and/or production experience to join a highly skilled fermentation production team who are dedicated to producing and delivering top quality products. The main purpose of the role is to assist with the brewing process of the product while adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Salary £26,250 + an excellent range of benefits including healthcare, free gym and 25 days holidays and free onsite parking
Key responsibilities for the Production Operative include,
- Conducting regular checks on fermentation parameters (temperature, pH, and pressure) to ensure compliance with production standards
- Document fermentation processes, results, and any deviations in batch records for traceability and compliance
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and work areas according to industry standards and regulations
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards to maintain a safe working environment
- Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality
- Troubleshooting on fermentation equipment to minimise downtime
The ideal Production Operative will need,
- Experience following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and compliance with industry regulations
- Previous experience within a manufacturing (ideally food/drink related) or laboratory environment
- Fermentation and/or production experience highly desirable
- Experience working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Basic MS Excel skills
- Have a positive and proactive attitude to problem solving and quality control
- Have an adaptable approach to new processes and/or chaning priorities
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle essential, free onsite parking
