LEGAL SECRETARY*** We are delighted to be recruiting for a full-time experienced Legal Secretary to join one of Surrey\’s longest standing and highly regarded legal practices. The purpose of the role is to provide secretarial and administrative support to a busy Fee Earner within the Probate/Wills department. Salary c.£30K depending on experience As a Legal Secretary your duties will include, Audio typing via digital dictation Opening and maintaining legal files Document handling including filing, copying, and engrossing Wills, Powers of Attorney, and other originals (binding as required) Handling client communications – both over the telephone and in person when covering for the fee earner Efficient diary management and appointment scheduling for your fee earner Preparing the boardroom for client meetings and firm gatherings Organising and preparing outgoing mail Supporting the wider office team with ad hoc duties as requiredAs a Legal Secretary you will need, Previous legal secretarial experience (ideally within probate/wills however any legal experience considered) A polite, professional manner with clients and colleagues alike Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook and fast and accurate audio typing skills Any experience using Leap Case Management system useful but not essential as full training will be provided Excellent attention to detail along with excellent organisational skills A proactive and flexible approach to workHours 9am-5pm Monday to Friday, 1 hour lunch This is a super opportunity for you to be part of a professional, friendly and supportive team within the Probate/Wills department
