Are you passionate about precision, problem-solving, and playing a key role in optimising operations? We\’re looking for an Inventory Specialist with experience of working with major technology brands such as Cisco, Canon, Dell, Epson, HPE, or HPI where you have thrived on turning data into action and therefore help our client drive operational excellence across their distribution network.
In this pivotal role, you\’ll help them to reduce and prevent stock issues while ensuring they make the smartest decisions about their inventory. You\’ll work across all their business units, using your analytical mind to keep the supply chain running efficiently.
Salary £30K + Pension + Paid Parking
Key responsibilities for the Inventory Specialist include,

  • Deliver clear, accurate reports on aging inventory and demo kit allocations
  • Analyse inventory trends and make strategic recommendations
  • Guide replenishment strategies to maintain healthy stock levels
  • Identify and track cancelled B2B orders to reduce holding costs
  • Enforce group inventory policies with consistency
  • Collaborate with Business Development and Sales teams to act on aging stock
  • Work with vendors to negotiate stock protection and financial support (rebates, etc.)

The ideal Inventory Specialist will need,

  • A university degree or equivalent (Business, Supply Chain, or similar preferred)
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales or presales for major brands like Cisco, Canon, Dell, Epson, HPE, or HPI
  • Sharp analytical skills and attention to detail
  • A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
