We are working with an award-winning event catering company based in Farnham, covering Hampshire, Surrey and neighbouring counties. We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and hands-on Sous Chef / Senior Chef to join their growing team and help deliver exceptional food and service across weddings, private parties, corporate events and special occasions.
The Role
- A varied, hands-on position working at exciting venues, from food preparation and service to event set-up and clear-down.
- You will have the opportunity to lead the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef/Director and take responsibility for the successful delivery of events.
About You
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef, Senior Chef or similar.
- Strong cooking and food preparation skills.
- Confident leading a kitchen team.
- Organised, reliable and calm under pressure.
- High standards of food hygiene and presentation.
- Flexible and happy working across different venues.
- Positive, professional and hands-on approach.
- Food Hygiene qualification.
- Full driving licence essential.
- Event catering experience is highly desirable, although strong restaurant/hospitality chefs looking to move into events are also encouraged to apply.
