Freelance Visual Merchandising Manager – Field-Based (Central & Greater London)

We\’re currently supporting a well-known fashion footwear and accessories retailer in finding a
Freelance Visual Merchandising Specialist
for a temporary field-based contract across
London and the surrounding areas.

This role will focus on elevating
in-store execution
, strengthening
accessories merchandising
, and supporting multiple high-turnover locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and maintain
  VM guidelines, toolkits, and commercial layouts
  across multiple high-turnover stores.
• Drive
  accessories growth
  (bags, umbrellas, socks) through impactful storytelling, optimal adjacencies, and improved space productivity.
• Ensure
  footwear presentations
  follow best practice: eye-level hero product placement, colour runs, leather stories, and clear pricing communication.
• Conduct
  before/after VM assessments
  , delivering quick wins and elevating store standards.
• Train in-store teams in simple, repeatable VM routines to enable consistent execution.
• Create concise
  VM decks and photo/video guides
  to support internal communication.
