We are looking for a B2B Social Media Specialist to join as an important member of the Marketing team, primarily focussing on developing social media strategy, producing and publishing content, analysing usage data, managing projects and supporting campaigns. My client is a B2B business working across the most creative sectors, spanning TV & Film, broadcast, production, cinematography, professional video, audio and photography. Not just a reseller - they are a trusted business partner and an extension of their customers' and suppliers' teams. With a passionate team of 200 dedicated professionals across six locations, they genuinely care about their customers and community.
Salary: Up to £40k London / Hybrid
The Role:
- Manage and maintain the day-to-day handling of all company social media channels and community engagement across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X.
- Develop creative and engaging social media strategies.
- Develop, launch and manage competitions and campaigns.
- Oversee, plan and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling tools.
- Collaborate with the wider teams to generate ideas and campaign solutions.
- Research and evaluate the latest trends, techniques, changes, developments and new platforms.
- Ensure all activity is consistent, accurate and follows brand guidelines.
- Monitor, track, analyse and report on performance on social media platforms.
- Meet targets to increase brand awareness, conversion and increased customer engagement.
- Engage in third party forums and online industry communities.
The Person:
- Previous Organic Social Media experience (open to industry) – In-house or agency.
- A solid understanding of the use of a range of social media platforms - Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, social media listening tools.
- Strong copywriting and editing skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of algorithms and search engine optimisation.
- Knowledge of GA4 (Google Analytics).
- Creative skills for contributing new and innovative ideas.
- Excellent team working, collaboration and networking skills.
- Project and campaign management skills.
- Have an interest in Media and Entertainment Technology.
